I am finally planning to start writing on this blog again. It has been a long long time since I did, and a lot has changed during these four years. I’ve moved on from college to a professional life, and am living independently on my own for the first time. Also, last year I had my first foreign trip (not a big deal these days) which was quite exciting and gave me a chance to actually see with my own eyes what lies there that make people go gaga when they dream about settling abroad.
Another good thing, I’ve finally started to read again. I used to do that in secondary school, then it stopped altogether during my high school days. My college life didn’t see a good start, and it was no different as far as reading (and writing) was concerned. So, understandably, the last four years have seen zero activity over here. I thought I had lost ‘Water Droplets’ forever, but thanks to Cloud technologies, all that I have written for a year or so have been preserved with care. I don’t think I could have maintained these if I were to do so on my hard disks or anywhere.
I plan to write at least one article per week, and I hope that I’ll be able to maintain this for quite some time (New Year resolutions 😀 ). Also I had a trip to Ladakh in these four years. It was a family trip, and surely one of the best ones of my life. It’s intimidating for sure, but at the end of it, you’ll feel like you’ve travelled to one of the best places that Mother India has to offer. Another polar opposite (not in terms of beauty) to Ladakh is Andamaan! I visited this place in the beginning of last year, and it too was a mesmerising experience. I had always cherished hills over seas, snows over beaches, and before visiting Andamaan, I never thought that seas and beaches could be that beautiful.
Ending the post on a hopeful note. Happy New Year everyone!
