1 Month of Blogging

Posted on April 29, 2012 by bubuenaa
Finally this Blog crosses it’s first step! It is one month old now. I look back to 29th March when I started it, with some thoughts and ambitions in mind, and so far, not bad progress to say the least. It has had almost 400 visitor’s, and that is a decent start to my blogging career.
Lot’s to be done yet, as I say, but this post is not related to any general topic, and its just celebrating the first step that we (www.soumikbhat.co.in and myself) have travelled so far. I hope to carry on longer. I’ve received many comments and I think putting a restriction, as I’ve done, has slowed down the flow of comments to some extent. However I must say, I  don’t have any already-made-circle of friends who can aid me in blogging, or will chop in with some comments – so I’m having to earn them. I’m not any film-star, or any famous public figure who routinely gets over 1000 visits a day, so it will be hard-going for me in the near future. I know it, I’m prepared to accept it and see where it ultimately ends up being.
Thus, one month is way too short for earning publicity for a personal blog. I’ve been daring enough to put such restrictions at such an early stage. Blogging has been one of my hobbies for long, but this is, I must say, the first serious attempt in starting one. I’ve written 18 posts in this one month-span of time, and these posts have been over varied issues – ranging from day-to-day affairs to funny stuff, mockery of the general public to Scientific notions and inventions to challenging of well-established views and then extending it to the deepest thoughts of Religion. I hope to carry on.
I’ve been on with my Food-For-Thoughts, and plan to add many more to them.
For my visitors, I’d be happy if they can come in with some more of healthy and constructive criticism on the topics I usually post on. Looking forward to more…
